I have a loose connector in my engine bay around the transmission.
You'll have to forgive my terminology ignorance here, but the shift selector box on the top of the transmission has a wire going into it. About eight inches back from that connector another wire branches off to a connector that just dangles below the ABS box.
I couldn't get a good picture of it, but if you follow that wire it's just off the bottom right corner:
I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything to plug it in to. It's covered in gunk and looks like it may have never been connected. I looked in my SE for a reference and there was no wire branching off, and I can't find any wiring diagrams that show it.
Any one know what this is for?
