alright, i did it............ i start redoing my trunklid and it looks awesome so far, at least thats my opinion

wtf are you kidding me? you messed it up more, put the wing back on and itd have been fine. all i did was take my wing off, mask where the wing was and hit it with a little paint then put the wing back on. youre making it a lot of work for yourself. now you need to get the whole lid painted...

Bio has little faith if your going to tackle a problem like that to fix the rust you have to do what your doing or else your putting a bandaide on it and it will still look like crap. Looks good so far just hope your paint turns out!!

Since when is smearing filler over rust then primering it fixing rust?

At least that's what it looks like you did...in which case...the rust will be back.

filler works..for a year until the rust starts coming out again, but i dont think you'l have a problem since your putting the wing back on.

thats what i did, sanded it down to the metal thanks god it wasnt rusted through if it works for a year im happy
