Looking to get a G8

I plan on selling my 2000 grand prix GTP for a used G8, what do you guys think of them ? pros and cons ?
 


Soo is the G8 GXP alot better than the Grand Prix GXP ? I don't want to spend the extra money for the different name.
 
awsome. But i need to see the price differences. The used GM dealership that i go to often says they can find pretty much any used car that i want thats less than 10 years old soo i wont have any trouble finding the GXP package.
 


Well i dunno what US prices are but i was looking at a G8 GXP last year used and it was selling for 40k CAN. Soooo i think the GXP is going to be big bucks compared to a G8 GT
 
Ran into a older guy last week who had a black one. Looked very nice and I was very jealous. He couldnt wipe the smile off his face when I asked if he liked it and how quick it was.
 


Ill give you both my nuts Haha gxps are rare so people still want some good money....plus they don't put too many miles on them. Get that gt and do full bolt ons and be able to keep up with that gxp....yes no 6 speed but id be happy for half the price
 
ive wanted a g8 forever.. i know everything about them lol. obviously the base model is out of the question. you can get a used gt with like 40k on it for low 20's or so. i dont think ive ever seen a gxp, if you can find one in manual, for less than like 29k. i work at a gm dealership and we are selling a black and white one. i want a white one. my discount on used cars there is unbelievable.. you have no idea haha. but get at least a gt. my deam one is white, with the rare black and red leather package inside. it looks soo sick otherwise the interior can be a little plain. even the gt with the 6.0 hauls a$$. when i get one im just gonna get a gt the get the supercharger kit for it and call it a day :) also theres a difference between the 08 and 09 keys. i think in 09 they used the flip key instead of a solid key.

"Get it to your price"? This is not a Grand Prix, or even a G8 GT. You have to do a lot of searching just to FIND one. GM announced Pontiac was getting the axe right around the time the GXPs were going to be produced. This resulted in only one year of GXP production at a whopping 1,828 total made. Due to the combination of their rarity and performance orientation, they're never going to be remotely close to the same price as a GT.
 
okay, let me re-phrase then. search and find one CLOSE to your max price. i mean, it's a rare vehicle, i'd want it.

i still want one
