Looking for a good kit/list of parts for lower intake manifold gasket replace...

Lim gasket
Aluminum elbows
Sc gasket
Oil, coolant, a little rtv

And knock out the vc gaskets if you need to while your there

Cool, thanks - now I'm glad I asked! Part #s would be great (I am assuming Rockauto but will buy from anywhere recommended) and I'm good at tracking down coupons!

Sorry about forgetting the year - it's a 2003 GTP

if you got advance auto near buy buy on line, us discount code, pick up local. enter your car in the search and your parts will come up. you can then take that part # and google it. amazon also has good prices.

you'll also want to pick up some vac line and new T's they are gonna break.

if your lim gaskets dont come with a small tube of rtv pick one up. its for the corners under the lim.

gen 3 you need a need gasket for the sc/upper plenum. your also gonna need some way of scrapping off the old sc gasket, it glues its self around the coolant ports area. i used razor blades and sand paper and brake cleaner to get it all off. took maybe a 1/2 hour to clean the lim and sc up real good.

So I'm pretty far into the LIM replacement and starting to put things back together.

In the Fel-Pro LIM kit there are two bags of O-rings. Each has 6 rings in it. The small rings are obviously for the injectors. What about the slightly larger rings? I expected enough rings to do the bottom and top of the injector but the larger rings fit pretty loosely. I must be missing something? Let me know if I need pics to help provide answers.

The 2 yellow orings go around the coolant ports.

I figured out that the larger black o-rings were for the L36 injectors. I need an extra pack of 6 to swap out all 12 on the injectors.

Slick2500, you read my mind for my next post. I needed an accurate pic showing the bolts for the LIM. The service manual doesn't show them well and is missing #5. Thanks! And I got the yellow o-rings in place.
