Looking at this grommet..

Im going to be installing an amp and sub, and Im looking at locations to pass through the firewall for the power wire. There's a grommet that looks nice and easy from the engine bay side that has a single cable running through.

Can anyone tell me where that comes out in the cabin? Obviously behind the dash but, how much needs to come apart to get to it?

Passenger floorboard right underneath the dash. Just have to pull the carpet up a bit.

Isnt that one way lower? Like down by the power steering rack? This one in the pictures is almost up by the windshield in the middle.

Oops yea.. There's one lower that I use that goes to the floorboard.

I was looking at that one too, but it looks like it's impossible to get at cause the rack and stuff is in the way... and mine has a boot on it. How do you get wires through?

It's easy to get to, you just may have to pull the motor forward, remove the coolant bottle and alternator if needed. I used the end of a metal coat hanger went in from the passenger floorboard and poked/enlarged the hole enough where I could slip the wire through.

Uh.. it's way easier if you go from the interior to the engine bay.
