• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Wondering what common issues to look for, also wondering if this will have HUD or not, if its fairly priced..

I have also heard there are a few things you need to do to a 3800 to make them bulletproof and was wondering exactly what those were, (upper and lower intakes?)

Are the supercharged versions more likely to be more expensive to mantain and are they reliable cars for the most part?

Coming from an 01 se with a blown headgasket and a load of other issues at 155k....

that looks like a great deal.
the supercharged versions are just as reliable as the N/A ones and i see the HUD in one of the pictures. i believe in 2005 is when they switched to aluminum intake manifold gaskets, so you should be all set for that.
check the rocker panels for rust, thats where it likes to settle.

Looks like an awesome deal! I'd hit that up as soon as possible. I believe it was '05-'08 motors that were the "improved versions" you could say. Like ctracer said because the gaskets got upgraded and such. Good luck!

Not all 05's got the updated lower gaskets, so double check it. Just look where the LIM meets the head at the ends and if you see black inbetween then you know you have to replace them. If silver then good to go.

Looks like it was flagged for removal from craigslist now anyways.

@decker, i currently have a gp 2001 se with all new parts steering wise but the headgasket blew and the transmission clunks out of first,

What do you guys think of this one?

are the miles high for the price? is it likely to have issues due to mileage?

I have heard superchargers put more wear and tear on the engine and thus will kill it quicker?

Too high of miles for the price, yes, but more like, way too much money for the amount of miles.

Supercharged 3800s (l32 these years) will last the same amount of time as an NA L26 in my opinion.

Also check for rust where the core support is welded to the front frame rails..
