Lookin for opinions here.. Engine build

Ive posted on here about the build i wanted to do. And it wont be to much to do now im just looking for some input on the rebuild process and what any of you who have Actually completed a full rebuild think.

My car is a 98 gtp with 182000miles on it still runs great even the trans feels good but i know with any mods things will break

My goal is to build a "bulletProof" engine with out seriously breaking the bank. Lightly modded yet daily driver reliable... and it still needs to be ca smogable.

I will be doing this at my school in the engine building class that starts in a couple months. we happen to be a GM sponsored program so I will have any and all tools i will need.

Any ideas on parts, vendors, and so on. Mainly looking for suggestions and so on maybe a little learning from past mistakes of others.

Talk to TDCRacing. He's got just about everything u could possibly want. And u wont be in the hole after dealing with him either

the motor is already pretty bulletproof. make sure your car doesnt even knock with an intercooler and then it will run forever as a quick DD.
