long awaited gtp pics. crashed benz amg bought gtp

so about a year ago i bought this thrashed on amg benz at an auction for 400 dollars, i did alot of work on it and as soon as i was happy with it some lady decided to run a stop sign and it was totaled. the insurance company gave me 5500 dollars and i bought my gtp. i love this car its been so good to me. btw these were all taken on my blackberry so they're ok at best

Nice clean car from the looks of it. Not a fan of the appearance stuff like the hood scoops, tail lights, and exhaust tips. But overall a nice car!

Hood scoops and those exhaust tips that belong on a Z28 Camaro need to go...lol

I don't particularly care for the hood scoops or tails myself, the previous owner did all of the work to the car. I hope to at some point get one of the badass ram air hoods and some blacked out tails. But, I'm 20 years old and my parents kicked me out of home. I have a 1 bedroom apartment in san diego "like the most expensive place to live ever" I pay 1000 dollars a month for rent and work part time and go to college with no help from anyone. So basically the cars gonna look like this for a while lol.

As far as engine mods, well nothing other than the k&n and downpipe. California starts smog testing every year as of next year. I know I can do most mods and pass an emissions test but they've in the past sent me to visual inspections. Where headers and any kind of aftermarket parts even the k&n or the fact I don't have egr could get my car red flagged and crushed, finding someone to do a crooked visual inspection these days is simply impossible. I encountered this with the mercedes. I think my motor runs fantastically. When I first got the car and was broke I saw 3 diff gtps in a local junk yard, haven't seen one since. But when I do see one I'm gonna pull the motor, throw it in the trunk of some ****ty car lock it in and pick it up on 50% off weekend and just rebuild it slowly part by part.
