Doing a LIM gasket and the genius I am I re-attached everything while neglecting to put back the side coolant channel cover. I had to break everything apart the next day when I realized it. I have been able to remove as much black rtv from the valley gaskets but there is still some residual left. I'm not sure if I'll be ok with re-using them with a little bit of black rtv left from the first go around.
Do I have to get new valley gaskets (assuming whole new kit) or can I simply re-use them and be fine. Please let me know, thanks.
