Lighted Vents & Cupholders

After adding Diode Dynamics interior Blue lights, I decided I needed a few small accents of Blue LED's that I can turn on with a switch. They give off a nice blue glow outta the vents, and the cupholders make water bottles a cool blue!

This is pretty easy to do if you are any good with wiring and taking the interior apart in a car, both of which I seem to be pretty good at, lol.

I put 1 5mm LED in each vent and cupholder. I was going to use Red/Orange to match the dash lights but I already have that color in my Tiburon, lol (see below).

looks nice but its a little too much IMO kinda looks like a night club....

the bottom one looks alot nicer...my floor lights are like that but only when i open the doors or the dome lights are on....that way they are off while driving....

all in all looks good just not my style
 
yeah Blue domes are cool and all, but white is more pratical - i do however like your vent lighting - i plan on lighting up my iphone dock soon and i might as well just keep going and add vent lights lol
 
where did you get the red led's for the tiburon? i wouldnt mind having some in mine since i have the red interior light theme going on

since there's no cover over the light in the floor board u really have like 5 bulb choices...but go wid these 3, a single led, a 5 led or a 9 led ( super bright )

can buy from diode dynamics...I have the single bulbs, but am waiting for my shipment of the 5 led for the floor board...The interior lights will only hold the single LED cause the cover is too small to fit a 5 LED or 9 LED 194
 


HA hA ok

yeah i think it would be the best thing half blue half white with a master switch hidden of course - then day to day can be white, and when showin off or whatever, go blue
