As the title states I am looking for a stock GT bin file. for my 2004.

Found out the current PCM is a 3800pro shelf-tune and I want to start fresh.

I believe these are the supported osid's:

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 3.8 L26 - 12584058
2004 Pontiac Grand Prix V6 3.8 L26 - 12588933

I downloaded one from powrtuner site, but am not sure it is stock...
Just like the 3800pro version it has some really funky cylinder skewing.

cyl1 - 1.058105%
cyl2 - 1.034912%
cyl3 - 1.011963%
cyl4 - 0.9890137%
cyl5 - 0.9660645%
cyl6 - 0.920166%

im pretty sure skew is 100% for all cylinders from factory.. i confirmed on the 04GTP bins but can't seem to find a non-GTP version.

Thanks guys

or can someone confirm that the 2004 GT has that fuc*ed up skewing and maybe explain to me what that would be for?
can't imagine why you would want to run cylinder 6 8% leaner.....

I suspect this is why I have 4*KR at wot on the onramp... one lean cyli

Thank you

Thanks Bill - I didn't see a Grand Prix category there in the BIN section.

I found one in a thread on powrtuner site but the skewing is also like my 3800pro bin... just doesn't seem factory - I won't believe they would skew them that differently so I believe I am still searching for a stock bin.

I registered for bonnevillpro and voila Grand Prix section appears in bin file category - and VOILA!! 2004 GP l36 bin file is there

Thanks Bill -

So this is the 2nd "stock" bin file I have got my hands on and it also has a weird cylinder skew... really odd... I just can't wrap my head around the fact why GM did that... unless they figured out some new stuff since 2003 in the NA version motors ... which i doubt..

I pulled up a 2003 L36 file to double check and sure enough.. 100% skew across all cylinders...

this is odd...

DHP used to skew the cylinders because it was belief back in the day that the middle cyl got hotter. So they added a little more fuel to battle heat / pre-detonation. But usually they just do it to the middle ones. I'm not sure why it's that way above.

Tuning back when DHP first came around was alot different. It's been interesting to watch it evolve from 2005 when i got my GTP till now.

Thanks, I found a really good list with the supported OSID's which made identifying some unnamed files in the bin.zip file much easier
