LED 880 Fog Light Bulbs

rynoman03

I AM PEWPIN!
I'm sure this has been done but I'd like to get my fogs running again. I've run 55watt lights for years but after breaking the 3rd set due to hitting a cat, rocks, etc I'm just going to use the stock fog lights again.

I found these on Amazon.

Has anyone who has used these bulbs liked them? I'm sure they will work fine but I thought I'd just see what some of you other guys thought.

They are yellow for driving lights.
I know. I was just ribbin' ya a little.

I know I'm dating myself, but yellow PIAA's and copycats were popular back in the late mid-late 90's during highschool. Those are LED, but still...just saying I don't know if I could drive behind that, personally.

If it works for you and you like the look, go for it. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Oh I'm not against the yellow. I just don't want blue or some other dumb color. White at 4600-5500k would be ok too.

LED's bulbs don't give the greatest output yet. They will be better than halogen, but nowhere's near a proper LED light assembly.

Here is the output from my XB LED lights:

You will be nowhere near this amount of light.
