L67-l36 Cam gear differences?

I read somewhere once that that cam gears (advanced or retarded 2*)are different in the l67 and l36 motors. Are they? Reason I am wondering is because I just picked up a 2001 slp gtp with a spun rod bearing and i am installing a N/A shortblock with 50k because it was dirt cheap. It will be bone stock otherwise besides a good tune as it will be my dd.
