l67 engine wont stay running..got the car running. tons of white smoke from exhast

when i start my car the idle is kinda rough and then out of nowhere the idle starts to climb to about 1k then drop to like 5 then up then down and then it cuts out. could it be my IAC? or even the MAF? i cant test anything tonight because i ripped my throttle body gasket and i cant get one until tomorrow

If you can't test anything today, then we really can't help you right now.

Seems that you already have an idea of what the problem may be, so do some trouble shooting and see where that gets you.

i have my old throttle body and i tryed swapping over the iac and other components over and it turns out the iac was bad but the car was still playing up. tomorrow if it still does the same thing after i put the gasket on im going to unplug the maf to see how the car reacts.

well when i replaced it the first time i guess it didnt seal properly and there was a pretty bad leak on the right side of the throttle body

i got it to run and now there is tons of white smoke billowing from exhaust
