L67 components



That kit is for 03 and below Series II 3800s (L36 to L67). Judging by your name, I'm thinking that you must have an 05 and it would have a N/A Series III 3800 (L26). I would stick with those same parts as seen there but using 04 and up parts as they are Series III instead of the Series II parts listed on that link. Someone else can chime in here and probably give you more info on if there is a top swap kit available for your 05. Good luck!!!

Like we've been talking in the other thread, you would need to use a drive by wire throttle body since your car is set up for drive by wire. Drive by wire throttle bodies don't fit on the Gen III supercharger, which is in that kit.

If you want to supercharg your car, short of swapping the whole engine for an L32, here is what you need.

Heads (L32/L67)
LIM (L32)
Fuel rail (L32)
Supercharger (L32)
Throttle body (L32)

Plus all the little parts that are interchangeable between the Series II and Series III engines.

I think that's what he is asking about (atleast in this thread). Besides what you got on you list there, what else is interchangeable when talking about a top swap L67 to a L32 that started out as a L26?
 
Everything. Idler pulleys, crank pulley, coil pack bracket, etc. Those parts I listed are the only ones that changed. The only difference between Series II and Series III heads are that the Series III have slightly larger exhaust valves. Otherwise they're identical, so you can use either.

As far as compatibility, the bottom end will work with either.
