l36 TB vs l67 TB



TPS and IAC are the same. MAF, should be different...but who knows...worse thing is it'll run like crap and you'll then know its wrong.
 
All of the sensors are the same, however, the bore is much smaller on a L36, and the L36 also uses a different silicone style seal instead of a paper gasket like the L67 uses. Basically, they won't interchange as far as I know.
 
you CAN run an l36 TB with an M90.

But its stupid because its smaller and the wrong shape.

Doesnt flow well in that situation.

alright so it should drive fine atleast for my break in period since i wont be goosin it? I just need it to be drivable sooner than later. Ive got to pay a ticket soon and cant really drop the $$ on a L67 TB.

You're gonna have to run a GT pcm to make it run right at best. While the sensors are the same, the MAF tables are completely different between the GT/GTP files. If it runs at all, you might not even be able to drive it. Also don't forget that the MAP sensor is different between the two, if you've changed them. So you're probably risking the engine if you drive it hard.
 
At 10000Hz on the L67 MAF table, you are flowing 240.61 Grams/Sec of air, but at 10000 Hz on the L36 table it is calibrated to 215.41 grams/second. You will run very lean (about 11%, so if you are commanding 11.5:1, you will be getting 12.8:1) and your wideband air fuel meter should be telling you this. so the L67 flows .24 grams a Sec per Hz and the GT flows .21 grams a sec per hz
