L36 Swap Questions.

I have pulled my 3800 out of my 1997 Grand Prix. I am swapping parts from it to the replacment 3800 which came out of a Monte Carlo.

The heater hose connectors are arranged a little different. It looks like I can pull off or pull out the ends that actually hooks onto the hose and swap them. Or is it easier to swap the whole assembly which may include the tensioner pulley.

Also the oil filter on my new engine sits at an angle compaired to the engine I pulled. I am wondering if I need to swap this also?

i would Swap the Oil Filter Extension Arm for sure Just to be safe there are Clearance Issues and For the Heater Hose connector Just swapping the Ends should work just fine

I typically do the whole tensioner bracket assembly. That way you put in fresh coolant elbows and know you are good.

No need for the oil filter adapter, it's W body to W body. Same part number.
