L32 vs. L67



L32 has coated pistons and powdered rods, bigger valves on the heads, gen v blower, returnless fuel system
 
yup pretty much summed it up, and it also had a Drive by Wire throttle body. Depending on the application the balancer is also different, as well as the oil pan and that is alum
 
l32 isnt better, just different. you can still break it. the good thing is that it is easier to find them with lower miles.
 


there's been a couple of people who have broken the powdered metal connecting rods, so are they really better?
 
The Series II L67 was used in the GTP's from '97-'03 and the Series III L32 was used in the '04-'08 GP's...
