L32 Intercooler Setup.......Need some advice

Im wanting to have this put on before my dyno in June. Also what pulley size can you drop to. My Setup is Xp Cam, 105 Springs, Double Chain, 42.5 Lucas injectors, Headers, and currently a 3.4 MPS.

Intercooler core:

Modded Fuel Rail: I wanna make these myself, if anyone has any ideas, I was thinking about a flare tool and some fittings then some braided stainless steel line that goes from one side to the other.

Anything im missing?
Can i use the stock S/C gasket that is for the Gen V? its the metal one? if not what gaskets do i use?

You're missing the tune factor.

And the fact you just can't say I have "X" mods and I want "Y" pulley.

Keep the 3.4" and start from there.

Every car is different.

So, until you have it on the scanner looking at what you can get away with knock free on a solid AFR and 16* or more timing at WOT...then a 3.4" should be it anyways.

so what your saying is that i can keep droping the pulley as long as it has more then 16* of timming, knock free and a soild AFR?

42.5 injectors should cover you down to around 3.0 pulley possibly smaller if you get the tune set just right.

More air = More fuel No matter what injector you have.

The only time there is a noticeable drop in MPGs is on E-85 because it requires ~33% more fuel.

wait so your saying if i add more air (smaller pulley) and more fuel (bigger injectors) with supporting intake/exhaust mods of course i wont get worse mpgs? as long as i dont drive it harder i mean

Yes.

I got over 30~ crusing on the highway with 3.29's, my entire top end of the motor was ported, running a ported LS1 TB setup, full exhaust, a 3.0", with a pretty beefy cam and a custom tune via HPT.

fwiw i ran a 3.0 on xp cam, and wbs stage II intercooler with a solid 11.5-11.2 afr and 16* of timing on a L36
