l26 in my gtp?Whats needed

PWNED

I located an l26 for my 99 GTP. For this swap is there anything else i will need to swap over besides l67 heads/valve covers/LIM/flywheel/crank pully/supercharger/fuel rails/oil pan/windage tray. Can i leave the lifters in the l26 block and run the pushrods and rockers from the l26 in the l67 heads? I will be running an S1x with this engine.

EDIT---I have a set of bare l67 heads at home. I have read about some machining a certain amount off but i am unsure what i should do. Anyone point me i nthe right direction? Also if this is done would i have to get different length push rods? Or anything else? The same goes for the head gasket. Unsure what thickness would be good. This will be my DD

So all the items for the swap are
l67 Heads
l67 Valve covers
l67 LIM
l67 Flywheel
l67 Crank pully
Supercharger
l67 Fuel rails
Grind down part of the motor mount bracket.
Is there anything else?

Just have to find out what to do about the head milling and gasket thickness. I need to read up on it more.

I read that the l26 lifters/pushrods/rockers can be used. Just wanted to clairify. I know someone had an issue with the pushrod hitting part of the head gasket. Didnt know if any other problems were instore.

why arent you literally setting the motors next to one another and just swapping over the parts that are different? it is the easiest way to explain about the parts you need.

id just use switch the oil pan and then you wouldnt have to do anything else with the mounts or anything.

Its my only vehicle. So i still need my car at the moment. Want to get as much done before it gets pulled out.
