KYB vs. ZZP

I've been wanting to lower my car since i bought it i love the way they look but im hesitant to just buy any spring or lowering kit. some people praise eibach i personally dont like their ride. but i found an auction on ebay for KYB Shocks and Lowering Springs for like 380 and i found a set of springs on ZZP that are SSC. i read reviews on the SSC and alot say to buy the struts.. but im not sure. in very short words. HELP! lol and feedback would be greatly appreciated...

This is the way my car sits on ssc's and gr2's. The ride sucks, its probably equivalent to the ride of eibach's, without the stance. I'll be getting B&G's soon...

Just to give you an idea... there are a couple of others out there but, Im not sure how low you want to be. There's a point to when your car becomes a snow plow.

yeah i dont really want a snow plow but i definetly want people to know its lowered. what about the KYB? everyone says how good those shocks are.

yeah KYB's are alright. I have the Gr2 version, there a bit stiffer and bumpier than stock. There's also the AGX's but imo they're a waste of money.

i run eibachs and have absolutely no problem going through a bunch of snow. dont be a baby, go low.

Vogtland springs were not mentioned. They lower the car about an 1" or less and ride pretty close to stock. You might want to consider them as an option if you do not want to go too low. For struts I would recommend you go with the AGX's for anything lower than 1". The GR2's don't handle lowering springs to well.

I'm not sure about that. But vogtland is the manufacturer for the springs that came on te discontinued GMPP lowering kit.

i have a vogtland/ agx combo. couldnt be happier. i have the agx's on 4 (stiffest setting) and its still not too rough on these crap michigan roads.

if you want agx's get them from performancepeddler.com. cheapest i found them. $444 with a coupon code of a "certain other forum". :th_lipssealed1:

zzp is a rip on these
