KYB GR2 + Vogtland = ?? Input please

I have new KYB GR2 struts and top plates, thinking about getting some vogtland springs as well. Is the car going to ride like crap? I don't mind a firm ride but its a daily driver so I can't feel like I'm being stabbed everytime I hit a pebble in the road. Also, since I don't have experience with them- will I need the anti-pogo washers, and can those be installed after I have the struts in the car or do I have to pull the struts out and disassemble them?

Couldn't find many pictures, so if you'd like, post up pictures of your car on vogtlands also.
 


Look in the Suspension and such area of the site, and you'll find a sticky with all the pictures of every time of lowering spring.
 
vogtland springs are the lightest drop you can get in springs. if you can't handle those then you definitely can't handle a properly lowered car.

WE ARE IN THAT SECTION...the sticky has all the pictures, but the picture of the vogtlands won't show up. That's not a major concern anyway, I just thought people could show their cars with the springs if they wanted to.

OK, thanks? I don't want a massive drop on my daily driver. My summer car is lowered, I know how it goes. All I was asking was if the vogtland springs will work fine with the KYB GR2's, and if I need the anti-pogo washers, or if there's another alternative to that.


Anyone have some helpful info that they'd like to share?
 
they'll be fine. the spring rates on the vogtlands aren't high enough to wear out the GR2s (now excel G struts) that quickly.

not sure on the pogo washers. i would think not since the springs are still kind of tall, but i could be wrong. they are subframe washers. get a set from the junkyard for dirt cheap as insurance.
 
Cool thanks, now I'm thinking maybe I should go with something that'll drop further, SSC or ZZP...

Where are the subframe washers that I can take off a junkyard car?
