KR with 3.6 pulley

My 04gtp has 104s, 180 drilled thermostat, plog, 2.5 catless dp, ported lower intake, zzp pcm, wizaird intake, and throttle body spacer.

Right now it has a 3.6 pulley to drop to a 3.5 zzp recommends 1.9 rocker arms had anyone run a 3.5 without the rocker arms?

I do not have a scanner for kr and can not get elm327 to connect to the ecu.

Any advice on what kind of scanner to use and the 3.5 pulley set up?

You need to get an aeroforce scan gauge to find out if you have any kr

Get yourself a 3" dp

lol ZZP.

Don't listen to that crap advice.

2.5" DP needs to go, for starters (look at headers or at the minimum a 3" downpipe).

The car will be faster with the rockers, 3.6", and a PROPER tune.

Not that canned PCM junk.

Also; that car WON'T run a 3.5" without a piggy rich file and low ass timing.

Finally, toss out that TB Spacer. It's more worthless than anything else.

Okay I have seen those just didn't know if there was anything else. I figure some of the stuff zzp says is to get you to but their stuff.

Copy on the dp I don't know why I didn't get 3" in the first place lol As for the tune I like the zzp pcm.

I wouldn't even be running that 3.6" without some type of scanner. For Christs sake a bluetooth OBD2 scanner is $8 on ebay and the torque app is free!

On that note, I'm running a 3.5" with whats in my sig. I've only had to pull minimal timing in some of the upper air mass cells to make it happy.

To do it all over again, I would have went with a 3.6" or maybe even kept the stock pulley.

You also have to remember OP has a GenV, you're still on a GenIII with your ImpSS.

That 3.5" you're running is basically a stock~ ish pulley for a GenV.

Thanks for the tips guys I'm planning gonna get a 3"dp and rockers just ordered a scan gauge keeping the 3.6 and see how I like that. Can anyone recommend a set of decent headers that aren't too expensive..

Just to update I got my gauge today and basically no KR at all. timing is around 16 at wot and up to 25-42 while cruising Is what ice seen so far. Is that decent for timing?

Meh.

04+ cars had a more aggressive curve.

But I guess as long as it is at or above 16* you're fine.
