Kr via timing advance?

As the title implies: Is there any way to know if you have KR just by the Timing Advance values?

I ask because my scan tool shows Ignition advance, but not a KR value....

Thanks

If you are stock you will have kr, all stock grand prixs will.

At wot, If i took a rough guess it will be about 15-16* ign adv, with anywhere from 2-5* degrees of kr.

Like say you have headers, that right there frees up all the exhaust restriction, no more u bend and small casted front manifold.

With those, on a stock tune still, I would say all the KR would go away and it would be running at the exact commanded AFR and ign adv.

Basically, exhaust mods get rid of knock and allow the car to breath.

Not really reliable method unfortunately.

Timing modifiers can change things.

Only in extreme situations... I have used this method and it works without issue. If you have a stock car making less than 15 degrees of timing, you can count on having 2-3 KR... Also nothing will put big bumps in timing curves except for KR.
