KR question.

I have a basically stock 00 GTP.
2.5" catless downpipe, DHP tune, CAI.
All else is stock.

My KR COMPLETELY stock was 6°.
After these mods it is better, but now it fluctuates from 2-6° at WOT.
can anyone explain this? I was hoping to drop my KR. I plan for headers and a 3.4" pulley in the future if I can get the KR to go away.
I'm used to playing with "Carbed"V8's
I'm a little green on Modding v6's.

From what I understand , they all have KR from the factory.. Mine has 2-4* KR , usually during shifts.. Could be false knock as well, but I like to look at the worst case scenario.. Headers, rockers, or a IC would be a good start, or get on a dyno for a full HPTuner setup.. If you pick one of the bigger 3 mods I just mentioned you should have zero knock on stock pulley, From what I see alot of guys withh older GTPs run a 3.4 on headers, rockers, Tune, 180 stat, 605s.. sell the DP if you can and look at speed Daddy headers, as they seem to be the best bang for the buck.. Im actually debating on picking up a pair myself, as they are pretty descent , being a SLP knockoff.

Well I got my KR down to 1-3°. But I think that is false. I'm going to order the dynamat kit from 3800. Maybe I'll know for sure once that's installed.
