kr from removal of balance shaft gear

what's the possibility of having kr because the balance shaft gear is not installed due to the installation of a double roller timing chain? when I installed the double roller, I didn't do anything with the balance shaft except remove the gear and so I'm wondering if just having it lay there is causing enough friction for the knock sensors to pick up some indication.
