Tofu Delivery Boy
Well as i posted in my last kill thread, i ended up racing my friend's R32. He talks a whole bunch of crap on it saying it's so fast blah di de blah de blah.
Well I decided to run against him. His car is pretty nice and the VR6 motor with AWD is amazing off the line, so we decided to do it from a roll instead of a dig. His car is a stock VW Golf Mk4 R32, my car is a 1998 GTP with plugs, t-stat, tb spacer, JMB FWI, ZZP cat-less DP, SLP Cat-back, ZZP PCM and 3.4 pulley.
We did 2 races, both at 40-45 mph roll, i did 3 honks and well he gunned it a split second before the third honk (cheater). So we both mashed it, but since he started early we stayed dead even, but once my car hit 3rd at about 90-95 i blew by him by a length and a half or so.
The second race was the same story almost, he gunned it early, but this time my car couldn't decide what gear to go in! I had the car manually in second but when i gunned it at 40ish it went into first (not what i wanted) then i let off for it to shift and it bogged so i said screw it. He was ahead of me by this time, but i kept up the entire way.
So anyway we had a lot of fun but i love the fact that he paid 16,000 for his R32 and i paid 3100 plus maybe 1600 in mods in my car and still am faster.:th_laugh-lol3:
