• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

KILL!

Well, I pulled up next to a black cobalt SS with no spoiler and smoked tails (that's all I ever saw:rolleyes:).
We went from a dig, a 20 roll, and a 40 roll.

the only one I had a chance in was the dig because blowers need time to build boost, and being N/A, I don't have that problem.:p

or think of it this way. an LS model with SS badgeing!!! LOL....little do they know that if you just push the bypass valve down a quater inch you build boost instantly....

but hey. more mod time!!!!

I had a SS almost put the spanking to me on I-70 one night. Dead even....I gave him a thumbs up!

If you're talking about the one I think you're talking about.... it's not even remotely close to stock. I put two car lengths on one in my Grand Cherokee (with 4 people in it I might add) from a dig, but my V8 and Quadradrive is what owned that one right off the light.

If you're thinking about Bryan's car, then you are correct.

his is only tuned, 2.6 pulley, and methanol injected. But it runs like a raped ape.

How's your viscous coupler? I have one of these, a '94 Limited, sitting in my driveway with a golf-ball sized hole in the #1 piston. Debating on whether to fix and sell it, or just sell it as-is for what I paid for it. Interior is SWEET, though.

Mine never gave me a lick of trouble, but it was an '03 and rarely driven. It only had 56,000 on it when I sold it back to CarMax (they made me a ridiculous offer I couldn't refuse). I sold it just to get out of the high payment and ridiculous insurance. We had 50/100/50 with $100 deducts on it, plus liability on the Escort. Now we have liability on the Escort and Lumina plus the exact same coverage on the Grand Prix as we did on the Jeep for $50 less per month. So now three cars covered instead of two for less money. SUV+4x4+V8=high insurance. 17 mpg was no prize either. We bought it to pull a camper, but we sold the camper this summer and it just became a weekend car just because it was super plush. It was a loaded '03 Limited.

We had a '98 Grand before that one. It had the 4.0 inline and SelecTrac. Never an ounce of trouble with it either other than a water pump.

You can see them in my F-Quick garage... Garages > wonkyseadonkey's Garage - FQuick.com

I WISH I could get 17mpg. I get 16, if I'm lucky, in the city in the GP,
20mpg in the Mazda B2000
and
8mpg in my '77 F-150 w/ a 400 V-8.

17-18 average in the Jeep. City driving was less.

well city driving in the GT I have put on 280miles on this tank alone. I will fill it up tomorrow and see what the mileage is.

I've gotten to drive the GP some since the roads have dried off a bit lately (It's been legally tagged all of about a week and a half). I'm seeing about 16-17 city and 24-25 highway, but keep in mind I've got 3.29 gears also so that hurts it a bit.
