Key won't come out

So recently ive noticed that sometimes when i park the car, the key will not come out, it is stuck in the "on" position. Its a 98 GTP, i know the trick using a screw driver to get it out, but i would really like to not have to do that every time haha any tips?
 


it is the park lock solinoid. There is a thread on here how to take it out. It is the white cylinder by the ignition switch. Once u have removed this u will be able to remove the key in any gear. So make sure u r in park before u take ur key out.
