Hello new user here. I have a 1999 GTP. I just installed and aftermarket radio and started car to make sure all was good and no problems. Finished the install and went to start car and nothing. No power, no lights, and key stuck. I did remove steering wheel cover and pushed in release pin to get keys out, but I still dont get any power, no interior lights, no dash lights, nothing. If I remove the brake release switch in the steering column, will I be good to go?
From all the threads I have read could either be this brake switch, floor shift wiring, or some other fix. And appears everyone else just gets keys stuck and still has ability to still drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
