key stuck in my grand prix with engine running and cant shut it off???

hello i have a 2002 grand prix and my key is stuck in the ignition and the car is still running and i cant turn the key to shut it off at all!!! and now my car ran out of gas and my battery is gonna die!!! can some body please help me i have no idea what to do???
 


Look up under the column by the key lock
Remove little round piece
Stick something small up there and it might release the key

although.. I've never heard of a cylinder being stuck in the on position.
 
That's odd.. After thinking about it, the way I'd shut a car off if the key was stuck on, is by popping the hood, and pulling the fuel pump relay.
 
I have had that problem, I just turn the steering wheel, or i'll put it into reverse and back into park or a combination of other things, that usually works. Hasn't happened in a while though.
