Has anyone raced a dodge magnum w/ hemi?

A guy @ work has one. He feels it's the fastest thing on earth.

I know it's got more hp but, I think.. Cause it weighs more, stock vs stock It'd be a pretty close race?

I know it's not a kill story but kinda relates.

Yeah. Back in the day I was pretty modded (3.4 I think) and barley got beat.

yeah theres a guy at my work with an 06 magnum with the 5.7 and he walked me. theyre fairly quick.

Those things are known to trap low 14's stock in good conditions...I'd say you would need, plugs/wires/180*/3" DP/U-Bend Del./Tuned PCM/CAI/3.4" Pulley

THEN...it MIGHT be close...I run with the SRT8's but they got the 6.1 V8 and about 420hp or something like that. But I got a lot more mods too and I ran Challenger's and Chargers...never a Magnum so I know I could beat a wagon

Yeah I figured he would... He just thinks it's gods gift to all cars. I mean liking your car is one thing, but this guys got it to a hole differant level.
