I don't think so. Not without a smaller pulley. It has 260HP (possibly 286HP) and is lighter, while you only have 240HP (maybe 250HP with the mods). Your only hope is that it's a stick and he sucks at driving it.
 
well i took two tl's one from a 60mph roll, took him by like a car & a half. the other from a dig, i had to go around a pot hole before i could go WOT took him by about a car. i say go for it, anything can happen on the street. plus the 258hp motor only has 233torque, if its a type-S stay far away till further mods lol!!

you should have no prob beating him!! the two that i killed were before i had my intake on, i was bone stock!! good luck & keep us updated!
