I have a problem with my 2000 GT. I removed the steering wheel to replace the ingition switch, and now I cannot get the steering wheel back on. I am a retired tech, and this is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I have spoken to a few friends in the business and they have no idea. The exact problem is that I cannot compress the cam plate down far enough to replace the snap ring in the first groove on the shaft. Therefore I cannot get the rest of the shaft put back together. ANY help would be appreciated. Thank you.
