• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just a few questions guys.

I'm new here obviously, and I don't know much about cars.

I've recently come into a 98 GTP, nice car. Has problems.

I tried looking for a repair manual to help me out, Haynes manual plainly states that it does not include supercharged motors, and I heard that Chilton is not well explained.

Pontiac Grand Prix Haynes Repair Manual - 1988-2005 Pontiac Grand Prix - Haynes H1638010 Well, maybe this one, but it doesn't say specifically.

Anyway, what I basically want to know....the location of these parts.

Mass air flow sensor, and the Idle Air Control Valve.

The car occasionally stutters at a stop sign, has died once, then accelerates somewhat jerky.

Other suggestions for what might be the cause are welcome.

Thank you kindly. I haven't driven the car much at all, twice to be exact. Want to get the basics out of the way first.

Sticky's at the top of each section...especially the Safely Modding Your 3800 I typed up...read all of those if you haven't yet.
