Junkyard Options.

Well im proud to say I finally done all of my supporting mods and got my 3.4 pulley on. Now I want to go further with this car. My trans is almost shot and I dont really have the money all at once to buy one of the built ones from zzp or anything. I was thinking about just getting a fairly low mileage junkyard trans and doing a shift kit, a trans cooler, and maybe a better TC. Hopefully that will give me some decent life on the new one. Is there any tips anyone has for me to make my next one last a little longer?

If you are 97-02/early 03 follow the info I have posted on how to swap the 4th clutch hub. Do the PCS, 4th hub shaft, channel plate gaskets, transgo skift kit and a fresh filter. While you are in there, check the chains (in teh write up) and if needed swap them to the V8's
