Junk yard motor and trans

Ok so here in the next few days a local junk yard has a deal where you can have 2 people maximum carry for 20 ft whatever you can carry for 54.99 a person.. I'm thinking of getting a motor and trans out of a 98 gtp if I remember right the mileage was low and everything was clean... I'm wanting to put it in my 97 because my trans is terrible

thought? Opinions?

i could carry a trans by myself for sure. the engine maybe a bit much. id have chains and metal fence poles or 2x4's to loop the chain and carry them up on your shoulder maybe.

or call David Blaine, im sure he make them levitate the 20 feet.

That's a funny thing to do. People will just start grabbing computers since they're expensive but light. (PCM's, BCM's, etc)

When I swapped my blown motor I moved my engine from a pallet to a tire because the new engine was on the hoist, walk 20 ft? hell no. 2 of me could prob crab walk a engine and trans for 20ft but I would have to have my wheaties in the morning.

2 people can carry an engine or a transmission with a long pipe... both at the same time, no way. Im pretty sure OP meant in 2 trips.

No I'm thinking all in one trip.. We asked about using supplies to carry and they said they haved to be car parts.. So my first thought is a drive shaft to carry it and seat belts hung from the drive shaft to carry motor and trans.. Obviously gonna take multiple Seatbelts

lol so its like a contest are you only aloud one trip because you could just start tearing the engine down in the yard
