JL 500/1 amp and stock radio question

I have a JL Audio 500/1 sub amp that just quit working on me a few years ago, it powers on, but it has no signal going through it. Has anyone ever had one repaired through either JL or an independent repair shop? What would I be looking at price wise? Any suggestions would be great

Another question, anyone know where I can get replacement knobs for the factory radio in my 04 Impala? The volume and tune button/knobs. The paint has chipped all the way off.

Every JL amp I've owned has done this. One they re-soldered the connections at the rca inputs. Another one, the channels were blown. And the other one, I have no idea and I gave up on them. The first two were under warranty so it didnt cost anything but time.

them jl amps always end up in the same spot, in my closet full of dead amps, like stated above. low ohm lights come on with normal operation and they just die. dont buy jl amps maybe the speakers but for quaility you can knab a much better set up for half the price.
