• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I've been brainstorming a neat little setup...(those with NIC cams please chime in)

i dont have all the pieces to mock anything up. all i have is a blower and a LIM. the fuel rail is what i need in order to make sure i've got clearance everywhere.

Check this out:

Turbo or CSC...with L67 heads and L36 intake. Now you have your 12 ports.

i am keeping the m90, so that thought is a no-go for me.

however, if we want to branch off into another topic that is cool...but we are cluttering this guys thread now. he is more concerned about the cam that he wants to run than the meth nozzle setup.

And I was all excited thinking that all the posts related to my cam and specific meth setup. :p lol it's cool guys, good meth subjects/conversations are hard to come by on this forum it seems. I've thought about direct injection, but the amount of work, money(injectors alone are $20 a pop, plus the $80 kit) and with this not really being an all out build, just a cam/meth/SC swap setup, I'd rather not do all that work. I've been trying to plan out a duel nozzle setup, as I think that will be the best setup for what I'm looking for, however there might be a spray pattern issue with the lack of long runners as stated. More so if I wanted to see if I could be aggresive with the kit, as it would suck if I could only spray the same amount of meth the pre-blower guys do. I plan on posting pics up on the devilsown forum tomorrow of the LIM, blower and where I'd like to spray and hopefully I can brainstorm with those guys as to what to do.

Also I found the LS7 lifters, and it seems they do only sell them in a set of 16.
GM Replacement LS7 Lifters

For the set of 12, this is what I've found.
GM Replacement Lifters

Price wise it would make sense that it's only 12 LS7 lifters, but seeing is how it's polar opposite of descriptive I do not want to take the chance of ordering them without knowing for sure they're LS7's.

Thanks Bill for the info, I'll look into getting the lifters.

TEK- why are you just running a 3.5 on your setup?

thats all i have right now, im still trying to working some minor problems. running on a canned tune right now too, has NIC fuel tables added from zzp, but still a canned tune.

stock lifters > all.

also, the NIC in town basically has a stock tune on it. The cam is not that different from stock.

more lift more duration less lobe seperation(more overlap than any other cam), the cam is quite a bit different than stock.

Ed... I have spare lims and a Gen 3 (same footprint as a Gen V) if you want to take a look at it closer etc and get more ideas of where the nozzles may fit etc while still getting to all the bolts.
