It's not the fuel pump, and what can it be?

Hey guys. I posted a couple of days ago about my my grand prix not starting. We thought that it was the fuel pump so we replaced it and it didn't fix the problem. We sprayed starter fluid into the throttle body and it would start for a minute and die. Also, my gas gauge is stuck at half a tank and changing fuel pumps didn't fix that problem. Does anyone have any ideas about what I should do for these problems? Thank you for for your time! :)
