well i have finally finished replacing the engine in m 98 coupe and put around 500 miles on it...seems to be running ok.
feels good to have it back on the road again
 


how long was it actually down?

i think the longest i've had mine down and not driveable was about a month.
 
yeah, that's a long time. always sucks.

the hardest part is when it's down and you just simply don't have the time to work on it, even if you have all of the parts and tools.
 
very true.. thing is i could only do it on a weekend and i had to coordinate around my ems job. it took about 6 weeks to gather the funding to bet the parts to fix it
