Issues with the engine

I have a 2002 grand prix se. I recently replaced the heads on it with 3400 heads because the crack before me that owned the car beat the **** out of it. I replaced them and realized I have an injector out, but at the same time when my car is running, it barely wants to accelerate, it wont make it up hills unless i have a run at them, and it billows smoke out the tailpipe. Anyone have any ideas on what that could be? i am out of options and am at a loss completely.

a. check plugs wires and coil pack b. check ure injectors. one cylinder not firing will cause one cylinder but not usually multiple random. c. pull ure valve covers off and check ure rocker arms and rods. i had one back out one time and block off a cylinder, got lucky and it didnt strip the head or rod. be careful with it like this, dont want to break anything that hasnt yet.

does the knock go away after it warms up?
 
no. it knocks the same and starts to smoke out the exhaust. I had a broken pushrod, but replaced it and redid all the gaskets. Started it up and it did the exact same thing.
