Hey guys. Found a guy that's parting out an 04 GP and says it had 70k original miles. I'm getting the leather seats and possibly the tranny from him for $350 but how can I find out if he truly had 70k on the car? Motor is gone too. My only idea was to swap the DIC in mine and see if it would display the mileage on it. Would that work or is there an easier way?
 


I just looked online and used transmission is about $650 from purzauto.com. I'd say if you're getting seats AND a transmission for $350 that's a good deal.
 
I would jump on that good price on seats if leather is in good shape of course. Also get a tranny included with it. But yeah switching dic should show mileage
 


Here's a pic of the seats he sent me. Says they're just dirty and has soda on them from the wreck. I don't see any tears on them or anything.
 
Not bad once you clean them up.. As long as they don't have any tears go for it!

Better get some better pictures unless you don't mind making a trip.. I know the glass sitting on the seat isn't a smart idea either
