Are there any shops like zzp or w-body, that does tuning (road or dyno) in Omaha NE? Or reputable people that could? Just curious because I've never heard of anywhere other than where I got my first tune (c&s) but figured a person that strictly does or knows lots about our engines would be a better tune? Thank you all for input. Hope this is the right section? I apologize if not.

Tom form C&S now works at Heartland, there's Dynosport in Lincoln if you want to try them.

I know a local guy that would probably be willing to custom tune your car for a lot cheaper and he does good work. He has a GP that went 11s for only $2k total in mods. PM Me and I'll let you know how to get in contact with him.

Also, this should probably be in the regional section instead of the tuning section since very few members are in the Omaha metro area.

Kinda a big let down that there aren't many members that are. My bad on that, thanks for all your help spade! Did you ever go on the sonic cruises or "1320" cruises around town?

Every now and again. Since the owner started letting other people (mostly spoiled kids who think the cars their parents bought and paid to have a shop mod for them) take over, the 1320 **** has gotten old.

I mostly stick to the Lincoln scene as much as possible, because they have a lot more legit racing, and call outs.

Well, thanks for the kind words, Spade. :th_thumbsup-wink:

I can help you out, and I'm a lot cheaper than any of the dyno-tune places. My shop is in Columbus. Two of my sisters also live in Omaha, but I don't get down there a whole lot.

Ohhh I'm just guessing you may or may not be talking about chase? My names AJ Kuch. I had tom tune it from the beginning, and have the following mods, yet I am out of injectors..just dono if I should be? Tog headers, 1 step colder plugs, 3.5" pulley, rig catted dp to stock catback, res. Delete, flowmaster mufflers, tuned on 91 made like 245ish Whp on the c&s mustang dyno, and a custom hai.

What year is your car, AJ?

Yeah, they could be maxed out. The returnless fuel system won't handle as much power on stock injectors as the return-style 97-03. You probably do need a set of injectors.

Awh now ain't that a b****. Well if I did injectors I would just go all out and do a e85 conv. So I would need a pump, but would I need diff fuel rails? And if I would have you tune it I'd probably buy a hpt and have you give me a 91 or 93 tune, and a e85.

Your fuel rails would be fine. Stock rails can support a ton of power. But, if you are upgrading your pump, it's not a bad idea to throw on some bigger rails as well. Not necessary though.
