Is there a way to turn VATS OFF? 2002 GTP w/broken key

Told my son a dozen times to get a spare key cut for his 2002 GTP....I even bought two blanks and they came with the instructions on how to program them...

well....

The other night he broke his one and only key off in the ignition. :th_shakinghead1:

I had hoped to use my HPTuners to disable VATS, then just get 2 keys made from the VIN at the dealer, and be done with it...Looking in the tune for the car, I don't see any option for disabling the VATS?

I don't want to attempt removing the broken key until I have a game plan, since right now it still starts and runs, as long as the other half of the key is also "in" the key switch...

What are my options here?

Yep no prob i had the same thing happen to me. i cleaned the electrical contacts in ignition switch while i was in there too. It really helps the whole car.
