Is running a universale intercooler on my 04 GTP safe?

I was wondering if i could run a universal intercooler and then put on a 3.3" pully and be safe with no KR.
Thanks for your input.
 


I do not know what a universal intercooler is, but it sounds like eBay junk. Your best option no matter what you do to drop the pulley size is to scan and tune.
 
I am guessing he is thinking of a fmi and I know there is a thread about it over on the supercharged section of this forum. From what I read they don't do anything for our supercharged cars, turbo is a different story.
 
you cant run an air to air without a trick plate between the blower and lower intake. if youre going through all that trouble you might as well run an air to water like all of the rest of us do because they are more efficient.
