Is my PCM tuned? How to tell?

Was wondering if there was a way to know if the PCM on my GTX has been tuned? I looked at it and it has a white sticker that simply reads White GTX thats it. Any way of knowing if mine may have tuned at some point Wish i knew the previous owner. I would really like to ask him some questins about this GTX? lol

Normally "tuned" "canned" PCM's will have a name on it, like ZZP, overkill, Digital horsepower etc etc.

If its been tuned via a DHP tuner or HP Tuners there is no way to tell. You'd have to ask the owner before you.

White GTX might be what GM and SLP put on the PCM when it left the factory.

Are there any performance aspects i could look for that only a tuned PCM would do. IE a Fan temp turn on? SHift points? 40 mph WOT lag? I know at 40 I can punch it and the tranny drops to second gear and its balls to the wall. How bad is the lag usually on stock tuning?

At 40 I can punch it and it downshifts and pulls pretty hard. That's what kinda makes me think it might be tuned. The fans don't stay on after I turn off the ignition though. But it does have a 180 tstat in it tho don't know if that means anything? I ve got a 3.4 pulley I want to put on but I hesitate to do so without knowing if its tuned or not. Idont have headers or 3" dp but I do have the ubend removal with cat delete and slp cat back so I feel comfortable running it if it has a tune

No flow mods, no pulley drop.

A u-bend delete and catback is not enough, even if it was tuned.

Sounds like the PCM is 100% stock to me. I would advise you to read a little more on what mods should be done prior to reducing the size of the supercharger pulley.
