Is a ported polish tb worth it

I Can get a ported and polished tb for my 97 gtp for 30 bucks is it worth it or no? I am currently working on dropping the 3.4 pulley with all the supporting mods that go with it

Not without a custom tune...it'll just make your car run like crap.

Helps throttle response and some kr but not without a tune. It'll throw your maf off greatly.
