Intermittent Start Issue

Greetings All

Yesterday, my boy went to start the 07 GP and all it would do was turn over, no fire. The one time it did start it hesitated real bad and died when he put into drive. I went out and experienced the same thing. Fast forward to today and it starts right up with out hesitation and runs like a top, no engine light, no stumble, not a single sign of a problem (which pisses me off more then it failing hard LOL) It the past it has experienced a intermittent rough or slight shake when started cold but went away as it warmed up and was driven (not really a rough idle) My experience with electronic parts (coil park, ignition module, crank sensor) are they fail hard, they don't have issues like this. I was going to put a gauge on the rail and check fuel pressure but Id guess it will be correct if its running. Unfortunately I didn't have any time to troubleshoot it when it happened.

So whats your take on this.

Cleaned up both. The TB was a bit dirty but not terrible and I sprayed the MAF. Think Ill run some sea foam just to burn a few $$ and see what happens. Thanks

Well the problem has come back after cleaning everything up. Except now its throwing codes and ideas really high in park. Codes are 1111, 1115, 102, 118, 113. I know what they all are but I have trouble believing that the MAF or coolant is causing this. It does the same thing regardless if the MAF is disconnected. Same goes for the gas pedal.

Ive seen mention of reprograming the TPS but no procedure. My buddy has an older Regal I was going to borrow the throttle body off of and see if the problem goes away. Any thoughts

Regal's don't have Drive by Wire throttle bodies, so that won't work for you.

I'd maybe check the harness for the intake temp sensor and coolant temp sensor.

AZ had a MAF for 70 with life time and no question return so I pick one up. No codes yet and rpm seem to be in check. Problem is this never happens to me, only the kid or my wife lol. Well see what happens.
