Okay, so I have an '04 GTP with tan cloth interior. I hate cloth but I got a good deal on the car and figured I could change out the inside later. So, I found some tan leather seats out of an '04 that are in really good shape... But they are heated. My car doesn't have heated seats. So, I was wondering if I got the AC control with the heated seats buttons on them would it work or is it more involved than that? Also, the car doesn't have HUD. What all is involved in adding that to the car... Basically, I have a car that is in the shape of a GTP... LOL, very base model... Although it does have a sun roof...LOL... Any Ideas??
 


ah...a fellow 04 + GP owner....Ill try to help. Yes, getting the A/C control with the heated seats switch is your first step. The upgraded A/C control should have a plug in the back of it to wire up to the heated seat wiring, if that makes any sense. I have not done this HVAC/seat modification myself but I am assuming it would be like any other electrical upgrade: you have the switch(A/C control), the heated seat, and the wiring to connect the two so that the seats can recieve the signal from the A/C control unit and the seats can send the signal for the heating element within the seats to be turned on. I hope that makes sense, I tend to ramble sometimes. :D Now, as for the HUD writeup, it HAS been done to a base model GP without the HUD originally equipped on the car.
